Cold

I think one of the saddest things in the world is when a loving, tender, caring person's heart hardens. They gave it their all, everything they had. But each battering, each betrayal, each denial of love killed them more, until there was nothing left.

Did you?

Did you see her? Did you see her in all her brightness? Did you see her eyes sparkle and how her voice carried? Did you see people look at her? Did you see her intelligence and her poetic magic? Did you see her politeness, her kindness? Her genuineness, her care? Did you? You didn't, Nobody did

Held

All she wanted was to be held. She couldn't recall the last time she had been hugged. There was so much love within her, so much warmth and she had no-one to give it to. She thought to herself, could it be that she'd die one day, never being held again?

Christmas

He asked me what I wanted for Valentine's Day, and I told him, a pure heart.  He asked me what I wanted for my birthday, and I said, good health and time. And at Christmas, he asked me what I wanted and I told him, happiness.

Opposite

It doesn't matter what anyone else says or how they'll tell you to react. You've got to be the one who makes peace with it. That's important. It's you, your Darkness. Your Light.

Voice

One learns the hard way. Again and again. Day after day.  Who is in, who is worth it and who matters. Spend your voice, your time, your energy on those who matter.  Not too much, not any extra.  Go where it's warm. Where your heart and mind are held in regard.  Go where you feel peace.

Throat chakra

I think I've lost my voice. No, not a sore throat but, I go to open my mouth and nothing comes out. I try tell you what is wrong, but no words can describe it. Everything's hopeless.
