Do you believe that you'll fall in love? Do you think that one day, this suit of armour will melt?  Do you think that one day, you'll put down your sword and say "I surrender, I surrender to you"? Do you believe that the sheer might of love's tenderness will win you over?  Do you think that one day, you'll let your shoulders drop, your breathing soften and your mind relax, because what is in front of you, wants you as you are?  Do you think you could allow that trespass, that may become a safe feeling?  Do you think that you could let it, believe it, feel it, see it?  Do you believe in the probability that you are made to be loved? 

  He asked me what I like... I told him, rainbows, autumn and sunlight.

  Yeah, there's oceans and mountains and even the stars, but me, me... I'm in love with the Moon

Do people know how important they are to us?  Do we forget to say it out loud to them?  Do we carry love inside of us, for them, but forget that they cannot hear the voice between our ears or the thud of our heart? Say it. Say it now. Say it loudly.  "You mean so much to me." 

  Two sides of one coin.  The good and the bad. Not sure who is the good one,  and who is bad.

  they say that if there's no flowers or dates,  then there's no point because he isn't trying. they say that you should walk away because there  is someone out there wanting to be with you,  who will be better with you.  sometimes though, it is quiet but there's no hurry,  there's only time to find each other.  and that does scare me a little.  this investment of time and trust, and the patience needed. someone once said, things rushed never last. i understand this now. i don't wish to rush. i wish to trust. i want to wait, and walk. and just say we get to the end, and it doesn't work out, that'll be okay too because the journey - the lesson, the memories were with you.

It's strange.  I wasn't looking for anyone, and you came along.  I let you into my high fenced world.  You showed me what I feared, because I had told you what I fear.  And you did exactly that.  You could have just left me alone. 

Waning and waxing, ebbs and tides, physical and internal. Pull me closer to you.

  Morning light is pure. It settles on everything, gently saying "Hey wake up now. Look how beautiful today is going to be."

I hope today is a better day for you.  I hope you are happier inside.  I hope you realise that you do not need anybody's validation to be heard or seen.  I hope you realise that you are a writer, a poetess.  I hope you know what that means... that your words are your own and they are not categorised as 'good' or 'not good'. They are your thoughts. They are you.  I hope you know that one rejection does not mean you have to give up on your dream.  I hope you believe in the power of manifestation.  I hope you know that you will do it, you just need to picture it.  I hope you realise that you shine bright, your eyes sparkle, your skin glows, your hair is lush and your smile is phenomenal. I hope you know that tears are a release, cathartic, so cry when it seems too much to handle.  I hope you enjoy your next journey of womanhood. The more you love her, the happier she will be.  I hope you embrace your changes and nourish your body with good ...

  The beautiful art of letter writing is lost. We are now people who hold back our words and emotions for fear of rejection. We send fast and empty texts, that are abbreviated. Our words have been lost. They are devoid of love and longing. Even the art of writing in cursive is no more. There are no more letters just as there are no more lovers. 

  I will laugh out loud again. I will smile. I will make my days worth it, worth remembering. That young girl I once was is still inside me, but she grew up and matured. She will laugh again in all the spaces that made her feel small.  

Friendship, companionship and love. Finding a way to walk through this journey of life. To understand that we are different but complement each other. Where I fail, you thrive and where you fall, I lift you up. Bonding over the imperfections of life.
